We’re teaching computers to understand images, graphs, charts, and videos and to read complex documents. Additional work we are doing involves augmenting reality to guide field technicians when operations get complex; helping computers speak and converse with emotion and expressiveness; and enriching video with metadata.
With a focus on innovation that matters, our researchers are developing technologies for IBM as well as clients around the world, including industries such as car manufacturing, restaurant management, governments, banking and insurance, and many more.
